I Forgave Him, Then He P0isoned Me (A Story You Need to Read)
Episode 1
I met Arinze when I was just 26. I had a stable job, a car, a house, life was good. I lacked nothing, or so I thought.
Arinze was charming, eloquent, and full of big dreams. The kind of man every woman wanted to be seen with. I felt lucky. Special. Chosen.
In just a few months, our bond grew stronger. We opened a joint account and started building what I believed was our forever.
But that forever… came crashing too soon.
I caught him cheating, not once, not twice, but with someone I called “sister”, my best friend since secondary school.
My world shattered.
My confidence crumbled.
People begged me to leave him, to walk away while I still had dignity.
But love?
It had made me blind.
He begged too, on his knees, with tears in his eyes.
“It was a mistake, babe. Believe me, this is not intentional. I will be more careful now. Don’t leave me. You know I love you. Remember our dreams… please don’t leave.”
I walked away for a few weeks… thinking I needed space.
But I missed him. I missed us.
I missed the illusion I had wrapped my heart in.
So… I forgave him and accepted him back.
He returned that night with flowers and wine. I cooked his favorite meal, egusi soup with pounded yam.
We laughed like old times.
Talked about starting over. He even asked if we could attend church together the coming Sunday. It felt like maybe, just maybe, we had a second chance.
But in the middle of the meal, he paused.
“Can you help me get salt from the kitchen?” he asked.
I raised an eyebrow.
“Salt? Why? Don’t tell me you’re not enjoying the food.”
He smiled.
“I just want to try something I saw online.”
I laughed and shook my head. “You and this your drama.”
I got up and went to the kitchen.
I didn’t know those few seconds would bring darkness, the man I loved came with a dark plan.
When I returned, he collected the salt, sprinkled a little on the pounded yam, and smiled.
“I just wanted to feel how it tastes differently.”
We both laughed.
I picked up my glass of wine and drank.
Minutes later…
My head started spinning.
My palms were sweaty.
My heart began to race uncontrollably.
I couldn’t speak.
It felt like fire was crawling through my chest.
My vision blurred.
Arinze sat calmly, his eyes cold.
Emotionless.
unbothered.
I gasped, struggling to form words.
“H… E… H..E..L..P…”
Then, I collapsed.
Shaking. Convulsing on the floor.
And just then…
A knock came at the door.
Arinze froze.
He wasn’t expecting anyone.
To be continued…
💬 But why will Arinze want to kcill her
