Then so much a load for Shehri to carry out when she discovered why everyone was treating her with disdain and thought it was surely Simo who told his friends but he denied. Even Lola accused Simo till he decided to find out himself since Lola broke up with him. He started going from one guy to the other,
"Who told you about her status?"
Till he discovered that the day Lola was telling him in the restaurant, she was angry and forgot there was a guy sitting behind her and his back was facing her back. The guy heard what she said and decided to warn his friend who had eyes on Shehri too, he said he wanted to collect his share of the national cake. Shehri had been a national cake to every boy who felt as to. So ridiculous of her to have gone so cheap. Harkening to what Lola said he quickly recounted what he overheard to his friend, that was when it spread like wild fire. So Shehri who was the hot campus cake lost her value and she was mostly found between her house and the classroom. This taught her a bitter lesson of which she hated Lola for opening up to Simo.
She sent her out of her room when Lola's contributions to the rent of the hostel expired. But Lola's disappointment was a blessing, because Simo rented a new hostel for her and was planning to even settle down with her.
Shehri was affected by the rumors on campus even outside the school because a lot of people knew her, since negativity spread wider than good deeds.
But one day Lola decided to apologize for destroying her self esteem. She pleaded and promised to help Shehri get a good man. She first of all told her despite your status, you will find someone who loves you the way you are. Just keep being beautiful and respectful to others. They became friends again and though Simo who was engaged to Lola was uncomfortable about the closeness again she explained everything to him. Then one of Simo's friends set his eyes on Shehri and couldn't take them away again. His heart felt something deep and strong and when he opened up to Simo and Lola they knew it was true love.
But was it strong enough to love Shehri with her condition, so they decided to let them be together and love each other. So they advised Shehri to date him but keep the secret till it was the right time.
The guy wanted intimacy but Shehri kept turning him down, she never wanted him to be contaminated and blame her in the future. But she was scared he was going to abandon her when he found out the truth.
