His name was Joshua and he was so fun of Shehri and even told Simo he wanted to marry her. So Simo asked him, "What if you find out that she had an ugly past,"
"Her past is her past, as long as she has changed."
"What if marrying her will endanger your life,"
"Love is a sacrifice my friend."
So Joshua was advised to tread well with her and to be careful not to rush. Shehri had given up on any relationship, and when Joshua came up to her she knew he was like the other guys and he was going to quit like the other guys.
One thing that had humbled her in life was the rumor that never had factual backings but just mere allegations and presumptions. So she didn't rush on him or quickly lure him to her bed as before but gave him more of the red light but he still stayed with her. And in order to keep him away, she decided to tell him the truth, but didn't have the courage. She was advised by Lola to let him fall in love with her so deeply before opening up to him. She thought it was a good idea but was worried,
"What if I end up jeopardizing his life?"
"What if you tell him and he abandons you, but if he falls for you he can consider your status,"
"I think it's better to tell him the truth now,"
"I don't think so."
So she heeded Lola's advice and decided to let him fall in love with her profoundly, so much so that he was going to drown in the ocean of love that he will never get out.
And truly Joshua sincerely loved Shehri and saw her as his future bride. On the other side Simo and Lola were planning to get married but their love had been for a long time and they were more familiar with each other. As for Shehri and Joshua their love was deep and made others envious until that fateful day Shehri decided to tell him the truth. She decided to go to his house and reveal her medical situation to him.
So she got to his house, knocked at the door but when Joshua opened the door, he sounded seldom, "What are you doing here? You are here to contaminate me, you thought I wouldn't learn of it right,"
"What are you talking about? I was here to even tell you about my..."
"Whatever!" He was outrageous, "If you could hide such a thing from me, then it means that you can even add something in my food."
"Please listen to me, Joshua please,"
"Leave my house, Shehri. I don't ever want to set my eyes on you again."
So Shehri left his house heartbroken and helpless crying. She had loved him and everything just crashed because of her condition.
