No matter what happened, Joshua's mom still frustrated Shehri. But fate had something different for her. She decided to confront Joshua, "It's not because I am keeping quiet that I will collect all the nonsense your mother is giving me. Let her park herself well. It's my respect for my future mother-in-law. Please talk to her."

Joshua discovered that no one was ready to accept him get married to Shehri despite his explanation. He didn't want to tell his mom that he was positive of the same thing she accused someone who was negative and Shehri was getting fed up. If anyone could have told him that instead of her being positive he was going to be the one infected with the sickness. It was a risk of love, that Shehri was taking because the infected person was the man which was more risky and unsafe.

But if they followed keen instructions the chances were slim that Shehri could be infected.

Their love was the greatest because Joshua had accepted her with her condition which turned out to be a false alarm, and then she also accepted him with the same condition which was an unprecedented situation. No one could've have expected such.

While they were battling with marriage issues due to Joshua's family, Lola and Simo were preparing to get married soon and Lola pleaded on Shehri to be her chief bridesmaid.

Joshua did everything not to reveal his health status to his parents but they were doing everything for him not to get married to Shehri and he decided to tell his mom and dad. He sat them down and uttered,

"Mom and Dad, since you have refused me to be comfortable with who I love despite my condition and she still loves me, I have decided to tell you the truth,"

"What condition if not her,"

"Stop being judgemental, mom,"

"I am protecting you instead my son, that girl has bewitched you."

Then he took out a container of drugs and showed them, "If I tell you the truth and you don't keep the secret I will seize to be your son,"

"You are our only male child, what secrets, that we already know?"

"Do you know these drugs, I am the one who is sick."

"We said it, that girl has infected you, I am finished,"

"Listen mom, don't conclude, I have not finished. Shehri is H.I.V negative,"

"How come?"

"I am the one who came out positive,"

"You lie my son, she hired the doctor to reverse the test results this can't be yours."

Her mum made him believe her when she said, "I heard she was very intelligent and smart and could trick you my son. I know her."

They argued that even Joshua thought her mom was speaking the truth, "Maybe she bribed the doctor. I remember she was there before me and she was the one who chose the hospital and doctor. My mom is right."

He thought but never opened up to his parents. So he accepted to bring her home and his parents were going to surprisingly take them somewhere to meet another doctor and if she was negative, they were going to accept her marry their son.
